 Stock company "Vilnius Plant of Reinforced Concrete Construction No. 3" has been established in 1955 and is one of the beginners of construction industry in Lithuania.
The company has old traditions of manufacturing prefabricated reinforced concrete, merchant concrete and grout, merchant armature and porous concrete. This can be witnessed by participation in building unique objects in Lithuania as well as abroad: hotel "Lietuva", TV tower, Vilnius Hospital of the First Aid, actual Lithuanian Parliament Building, the complex of hospitals in Santariskes etc. The company consists of two territories the total area of which is 22 ha.
The factory has its own boiler providing autonomic heating. Three railway lines in the territory of the company make a possibility to store up and realize raw materials by transporting them in carriages, thus reducing transportation expenses.
When the company was privatized (100 % of capital is private) a special attention was given to technology development and installation of manufacturing technology. It enabled the company to increase quality of manufactured products and to develop nomenclature. In 2004 the companies’ quality control system was certified according to ISO 9001.
The investments to new technology and modernization of the old one enabled the company to increase manufacture capacity allowing organizing any object with the following production of high quality in a very short period of time:
- wall porous concrete blocks ≈ 90 000 m3/year;
- concrete double and hollow blocks ≈ 40 000 m3/year;
- basement foundation wall blocks (B) about 35 000 m3/year;
- G/B constructions ≈ 145 000 m3/year, including extrusion hollow-core plates VPL - 900 m2/per shift with newly installed technologies (Finnish equipment "Elematic" and German equipment "Weiler");
- capacity increased to 500 m3/per hour after the new German machines ("Stetter" ir "Wigert") for concrete and sand concrete compound manufacture were installed;
- lime and complex solutions - 120 000 m2/year;
- environment management elements (German press "HESS") - 1 500 m2/per shift;
- g/b manhole elements (Austrian press "Schlusserbauer" ) ≈ 150 ÷ 200 units/shift;
- height correctional rings RŽU (Austrian press "Schlusserbauer" ) - 200 units/shift.

Manufacture Capacity and New Technologies |

In the thirst territory, there is a fully automatic concrete and sand concrete line, PDN traffic plate line and hollow core plate (1.5 and 1.8 m width) lines.
In the thirst territory, in 2007 Austrian "Schlusserbauer" (see pic.) fully automatic ring manufacture line has started to work.
In the second territory there are manufacture departments of armature products, departments of reinforced construction and concrete products, specialized manufacture department of non standard products (balcony plates etc.). Certified wall blocks of various dimensions are manufactured in the porous concrete department. Manufacture capacity 90 000 m3/year, lime and complex solution - 120 000 m2/year. Manufacture capacity of reinforced constructions and concrete products - 80 000 m3/year.
In 2008, Austrian press "Schlusserbauer" for manufacture of height correctional rings was launched. Height correctional rings RŽU can be 5 cm; 10 cm or 15 cm high. More info...
 In the beginning of 2006, stock company ″VILNIAUS GKG-3″ started manufacture of modern hollow core plates with German equipment "WEILER". A line of hollow core plates with Finnish equipment "ELEMATIC" has been started in 2007-2008. A new German concrete plant "WIGERT" (see pic.) has been installed and is in operation. Manufacture capacity has been increased in order to ensure quick and high quality completion of any object. We can produce 900 m2 plates of VPL type per shift.
Subject to the length of the opening and the desired load, we can produce plates to 12.5 m long the load of which can reach 16.0 kPA without its own weight. More information:

German Press Hess 2000 |

Environment management elements (fixings, tiles, borders) and concrete basement and wall blocks are produced using German press "HESS-2000". Concrete blocks can be double PBB (490x200x185) and hollow TBB (390x240x190; 390x140x190). More info...
1 500 m2 of production per shift can be produced using the press "HESS-2000".
A complex quality control system has been installed during product certification; laboratory equipment has been renewed in order to do so. In order to determine concrete conformity according to LST 1330-2000, we obtained the following equipment: 8 l capacity equipment for measuring air volume in fresh concrete, inert material screening sieves (German) and other equipment.
The production of the company corresponds all standard requirements of Lithuania Republic. |

Concrete Plant Stetter |

 In 2004 the company started operation of modern mobile concrete compound production line "STETTER". This production line is built in a very practical location near "Gastos" pit in Gariunai.
Advantages of the new concrete compound production line "STETTER" :
1. The production of concrete compounds is fully automatic (there is no ″human factor″). It ensures that mixings of one order are identical. 2. Precise dosage of concrete, filling and other additives. 3. Precise production of concrete compound consistence evaluating moisture of fillings and regulating w/c (water – cement) proportion. 4. A possibility to manufacture concrete of high marks using different fillings and additives. 5. The capacity of the concrete compound line "STETTER" is 94 m 3/per 1 hour (material remixing time is 30 sec. according to European standards and the quality is controlled). . 6.
